• Psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes in duration and billed at $160 per session for individual therapy. You will not be charged HST.

• My fees for psychotherapy services are comparable with other Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) in the Ottawa area.​

​

• Payment for services is due at the beginning of each session and can be made via e-transfer, credit card, or debit card.

​

• You will be provided with a receipt when payment is received. This can be used for insurance or income tax claims if applicable.​

​

• Credit card information will be retained on file for the purposes of billing for late-cancellation fees and no-show fees. 

​

• A minimum of 48 hours advance notice is required for cancellations to avoid a $50 late-cancellation fee. Please see the cancellation policy on the FAQ page for more information.

• The full session rate of $160 will be charged to the credit card on file when the client does not attend their therapy appointment (i.e. are a no-show). Please note that most insurance companies will not cover the cost of a missed appointment.

• Although psychotherapy services are not covered by OHIP, many extended health insurance plans include partial coverage for psychotherapy services. Please check with your insurance provider to determine the claim procedure, what details are required on receipts, and whether you require a referral from your physician for your psychotherapy treatment costs to be covered by your insurance policy, as coverage terms vary.

• Fees for psychotherapy services by a legally authorized psychotherapist are tax deductible as medical expenses for residents of Ontario and Quebec.
